orbis

The work ‘orbis’ attempts to break up the way loudspeakers function and to transfer this to a sensitive handling of materiality and exciters as vibrating elements.

Listening to noises or music is so natural nowadays that hardly anyone thinks about what exactly they hear. However, if the sounds were not present, a very large part of our perception would disappear and thus also attract attention. My work tries to build up a sensitivity to vibrations, materiality and perception, as brilliance it’s often lost when we take our perception for granted.
